Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes. You shall not be afraid of them but you shall remember what the Lord your God did to Pharaoh and to all Egypt,.
Like emery harder than flint have I made your forehead. Fear them not, nor be dismayed at their looks, for they are a rebellious house. And so also were James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing. You will not need to fight in this battle. Stand firm, hold your position, and see the salvation of the Lord on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem.
Tomorrow go out against them, and the Lord will be with you. Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and for ten days you will have tribulation. Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life. And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. May the Lord give strength to his people!
